www.AAANetAccess.com The AAA Member Rewards Visa Signature Card turned out to be just the credit card I was looking for. As a recent member to the AAA New Jersey Automobile Club, I was told about this credit card that can give several benefits towards my membership. A fellow member had spoken of ways in which I could build up a point system and therefore, obtain credit points for simple things like car repair bills.

www.AAANetAccess.com Rewards Visa Signature Card stacked up well against the other credit cards I had looked at simply because it has you the AAA member in mind. I am able to earn a point for every dollar I spend on my groceries. However, when I top up for gas, I can then earn double points. For example, only yesterday I topped up with $50 in gas and found 100 points had been added. If you use it on travel purchases, such as a flight or rail ticket, that has been sanctioned through the AAA it will add three points for every dollar spent.

The AAA vouchers you can so easily build up are perfect for offsetting against my auto repair bills and a range of other travel goods. I realise that security, and safety was always a key factor towards managing any credit card online, and I was a little apprehensive at first but my initial fears were soon put to bed when I saw the lengths the AAA Member Rewards Visa Signature Card goes to in order to ensure card safety when managing your account online.

www.AAANetAccess.com The AAA Member Rewards Visa Signature Card boasts secure online account access with a special service that allows its customers to contact a 24-hours a day, seven days a week helpline that has always been a bit of a lifeline for me, particularly when I thought I had once believed my AAA Member Rewards Visa Signature Card had gone missing in the post. Fortunately, the card details had followed in another separate correspondence, and it turned out everything was fine. The call centre operator was very punctual to answer the call and helped me through my “problem” and immediately put my mind to rest.

I was also told of another great feature I did not realise at first was even available. A service called Purchase Replacement allows you to cover any goods that are damaged or stolen within the first three months since the purchase. www.AAANetAccess.com

The specific topic addressed in this chapter is how the Federal Reserve System regulates the supply of money in the economy.

The Function of Money

Before we examine the structure of the Federal Reserve System and how it controls the supply of money, it is helpful to have a reasonably precise definition of what constitutes money. We need to understand what the criteria are for defining money, historically what has served as money, and the problems involved in agreeing upon what should be categorized as money today.

To see how to define money it is necessary to [...] Continue Reading…

ALTERNATIVE DEFINITIONS OF MONEY (2)

There is yet another requirement for an asset to function successfully as money, though it is not exactly a function of money. The requirement is that the supply of the asset be sufficiently independent of the events in the rest of the economy that the value of the asset cannot be easily altered by participants in the economy. To see why this is important it is best to examine a few of the commodities [...] Continue Reading…

What Constitutes Money Today? (1)

Written on at , by admin

It is not an easy task to define money in our contemporary economy. The problem is that there are now many assets which are close to meeting the requirements for money described above. To see what serves as money today we can start with the assets which most clearly fit our concept of money. The first asset which is generally recognized as money is cash or currency. This includes the paper notes and metal [...] Continue Reading…
